    Hi all,

My laptop is over 4years old now, slowing an awful lot, and needs replacing. It was bought as a middle of the road laptop back then, and it did its job. Now i've spotted this laptop, and it SEEMS to be at a very good price. Primarily i use my laptop for surfing and downloading, bit of office, and occasionally CAD.

I've bought medion and tevion stuff in the past, and its always been fairly good. Can anyone recommend them?

Also while i'm fairly comfortable with computers, i know little about the hardware (ie processors etc), so can anyone advise me to whether this is a decent deal or not?

    Thanks in advance.

For the price,It's not bag but it is one of the cheapest ugliest laptops i've ever seen!

Other than that,It's got an AMD processor only 120gb HD for CAD the specs would be ok but i could imagine it not being brilliant for it.

Also there is no mention of a battery,So it can't be anything brilliant..

Maybe this might be better http://elara.ie/products/detailsfullat.asp?productcode=ECE1703457#spec

It is a very attractive machine, i agree. :D I only very rarely use CAD, and i have a 1TB external anyway so not too worried about its harddrive. Had only just started thinking about changing the laptop last week, so when i saw this (at that proce) i thought it may just be worth a look see.

Other than the appearance, what do people think of the specs?

Specs are kind of...meh. They're not great for the price.
