Bit of a mixed bag of components.

It's sold as "BH Bikes Speedrom 7.6 Double 105 Road Bike", but it doesn't even have 105 shifters. The first decent Google hit I got off "Microshift vs Shimano" described them as "a knockoff of ancient Shimano components".

Wheels look a bit paired spoke-ish to me.

I haven't ridden this bike, and claim no particular expertise in componentry, but it wouldn't be my first choice at around €1000, since you asked. :)

Seems like way to much of a mixed bag for me you could spend your money alot better i think.

i was looking at the Velon a few months back, a friend of my missus cycles fairly competitivly here in Ireland, he told me to steer clear,

    i took his advice

whether it was right or wrong, i dont know, but i listen to people with more expereince than me

I thought it looked like a good frame withreasonable parts and that it may be worth upgrading as time goes by....the search continues i guess
