A friend of mine has just got this installed and discovers that a) he is now using VOIP and b) none of his DECT cordless analog phone work with it!!

Wonder if anyone has used an ATA in this case to connect to VOIP router and dect phones? I was thinking that I could just configure the ATA to point to the VOIP routers IP addr as the SIP proxy etc.

Any ideas / thoughts on this idea? other solutions welcome

IMPOSSIBLE.... the router is locked down by NTL, you can't configure any VoIP settings or what soever... :(

I don't want to configure the NTL / UPC router. I want to install an ATA on local network and configure this ATA to look to IP address of the UPC box for SIP services.
