DEATH VIA SATELLITE: have moved to The Underground @ Kennedys, next show is Sat 19th September with SLEEP THIEVES, THE HOLY ROMAN ARMY & NAKATOMI TOWERS!!

Death Via Satellite is an electro/electronica/new wave/indie club night that forces you out of your recession gloom and the cans of cheap beer out of your hand, and into a soundclash of Dublin & Ireland’s best bands and DJ’s providing electro/alt indie floor shakers to keep you busy til late…

Death Via Satellite’s older incarnation as the outlet for rising bands to strut their stuff has seen the likes of Fight Like Apes, Laundry Shop, Love Lies Sleeping (L.A., USA), The Kits (Australia), Queen Kong, Lights, New Amusement, alazarussoul, Orphan Code, Distractors, Autoban, Green Lights & Stagger Lee play storming shows, & moving to Kennedy's simply means more top Irish bands mixed between guest DJ's at every show manning the decks with a heady mix of electro & indie for all...

This time around SLEEP THIEVES launch their download single and video 'City Lights' with a headline set at Death Via Satellite, building on their rapid rise with their latest release and a customary high energy show. Expect electro, pop and indie hooks aplenty! THE HOLY ROMAN ARMY have rightly taken the Irish music scene by storm in 2009 with their excellent album 'How The Light Gets In' garnering praise from every corner. They bring their full band experience to Death Via Satellite so expect gorgeous melodies, clever beats and lush synth as standard... Hotly tipped Belfast based electropoppers NAKATOMI TOWERS bringing their full compliment of ass shakers south of the border so arrive early and leave firmly converted!

Doors are at 8pm, admission is €10 and as well as the bands, Al from Le Galaxie drops in for DJ sets between each act! So come for drinking, dancing, debauchery and Death Via Satellite...
