    Hi guys,
Got a ford puma, wanna put some really nice wheels on it.
Does anyone know the proper maximum size they can handle?
I know I had 17s on my fiat punto, they fit on alright, but they really shouldnt have gone on they pulled my tracking everywhere and f*cked the part car long term, so dont wanna make that mistake again. Id love 17s or 18s but i dont know if they will fit without fecking the car up in the long run again???
    Thanks :D

tbh, I wouldnt go above 17, and even thats a pain. But stick with 17's. Redo your tracking and balancing.

do you mind me asking what damage did the 17's do to the punto? because i've got 17's waiting to go on mine at the moment and i dont wanna wreck the car

    thanks man

Pull your gearbox, rub off the arches, tracking can get messed up, fuel economy gets worse etc etc etc :)

Yea agree with the guy above, its pulled my tracking all over the place. I dont know the technical terms.........but the mad part that connects the 2 front wheels together that gets totally ****ed in the long run.......it takes a long time tho, ive had them on mine probs 3 years and nothin serious has happened yet but a punto dealer was lookin at it and said, be prepared its doin more damage, might happen soon, something to do with wishbones too!!???
Its not the worst like, just be prepared to maintain the car parts effected every once in a while. I think ill try the 17s thanks, altho its a pretty low car hopefully they fit??
