Philips DVDR3480 Tuner?

My sister got the Philips DVDR3480 today and i was trying to tune in all the channels on the UPC Analog Package. 2 channels wouldn't tune in at all. TV3 and Nickelodeon. I tried to manually tune in TV3 on frequency 224 MHZ but this frequency was'nt available. Is this a common problem with this Philips DVD Recorder? Or is…
