Anyone else find this guy a bit of a prune. He does be on on Sunday's at 7.30 going around chasing auld ones with daft questions. The guy who does TV reviews in the Indo says it's the best thing RTE have made in ages.

All I can see is a thick egg wearing a tophat. Can't believe he got re-commissioned.

Ha, ah he's harmless enough tbh. It's a cheap programme to put together so it obviously appeals to RTE. O Gorman has a good knack of getting people to open up on camera.

It's an unusual show. In many ways quintessentially Irish. And he is always seems to get people to engage in a very real & relaxed manner.

It shouldn't work but somehow it does.

I'm watching for the inevitable show when a punter gets annoyed with his intrusive questions and punches his lights out.

Some dopes he has on the show in fairness. Young lad on it tonight going to buy a car for 10k (insurance costing him 4k), and him an apprentice metal fitter when apprentices are being dropped every day of the week. Paddy asked him if he had a child and he responded "yeah, but that doesnt cost too much." His friend, another dope, was paying 5,700 a year on insurance.

I think it's a quirky but interesting show, I rather watch him interview ordinary people than Tubridy talking to fair city "celebraties"

    They certainly do.

Remember the cash traders episode where the boy sold in his guitar. When he got it back he played a tune and Paddy bought himself and the fella a cup of tea and they sat down together.

    Great viewing altogether!
