Just out of curiosity, can anybody explain why there'll be results available for JS Science and Comp. Sci? Engineering are even going to have results out for SS, apparently.

What's the deal, I didn't think you could sit repeats in something that counted towards your final degree mark.

You could be carrying a subject from JS which you failed in SS and are repeating, or maybe were not able to sit your first set of exams in June due to a medical reason or something else, so therefore when you sit the exams in August it'd be your first attempt at them.

I think if you fail JS science you can either pass the summer repeats and end up with an ordinary degree, or repeat the year and hopefully get an honours degree.

Can someone tell me where the JF Science noticeboard is? I'm checking repeat results for someone. Also, I can't open that link in the second post cos I don't have access, but results are out tomorrow, right?

if you go in the big metal doors of the hamilton building (beside the su shop) and go down and then right until the very end of the corridor you'll see some notice boards.

Can anyone confirm/deny this? My girlfriend is in TSM and is due results at 6pm on the 21st according to the sheet above. Might head up to dublin if they're not available until 6pm tuesday 22nd online? Will they only be on the noticeboards on the Monday or...?

    Thanks for any help :)

The examinations office page just says the following:
Undergraduate examination results are available online following the Annual (April/May) Examinations and Supplemental (September) Examinations only. Dates of publication for Annual and Supplemental Examination Results are provided to the Examinations Office by School, Discipline or Course Offices. Results will be available on this website within 24 hours of receipt of the results in the Examinations Office.

Although... for my summer exams, my results weren't scheduled to go up on the noticeboard until 5pm but they were online from about 12.30pm that day.

Engineering were on the noticeboard at 1pm yesterday, they went up on the site a few hours later.

Your department may put them on thier own site before that too..

You would need his student number for that wouldn't you? And since giving it out on the internet is not recommended and AFAIK we can't copy and paste internal college documents such as this, no one here can help.
