My son has just started first year and is mildly dyslexic. I would like to get him grinds in English not geared at the English curriculum but in general English to help with reading that is required in the other subjects.

He won't go to the dyslexia workshop (his sister does).

i would suggest having a look at the education threads, many theirs a few stickies i think on people who gives grinds... and surely there is help for him provided by the school? or does he not want to be involved in them?
