Babysitting websites

May not be the right forum, but...

I decided to register as a babysitter with one the other day, and I found some work pretty much straight away. I'm meeting one family tomorrow.

I'm just wondering if anybody here has used them, or knows anything about them, or knows many parents who use them. Am I likely to encounter a lot of weirdos? I know how to stay safe and everything, but I'd like to be prepared. Thanks.

I got two jobs off a pregnancy website and both were fine.

Thanks for the reply. The people I met yesterday were lovely.

What site did you use? I'm a Nanny and have found all my jobs on either rollercoaster.ie or eumom.ie and never had any bother. All perfectly sane people so far :)

I used babysitters.ie. Seems okay so far!
