    Good question, I've wondered this myself actually. AH for instance, at the best of times the amount of people browsing it that are registered is just about level with the unregistered.

    Most of the traffic is just coming from searches I'd imagine

    It's like a high street, less people actually go into the shops than pass it and look in the window =p
