Temporary Removal of City Centre Bus Stops
    Wednesday, September 09, 2009

The installation of accessible kerbing at bus stops is due to commence in the city centre over the next couple of weeks. The installation of accessible kerbing will facilitate the level boarding of buses and will provide an easier and more inclusive access for all. The Trueform Bus Stops (shown in the picture to the right) in these areas will be temporarily removed and replaced with standard poles and carousels. On completion of the accessible kerbing the Trueform Bus Stops will be reinstated.

The areas affected by this will be Parnell Street, Cathal Brugha Street, Lower Abbey Street, D’Olier Street and Burgh Quay. Dublin Bus apologises for any inconvenience caused during this time.
