Can't access private messages

    I have a notification for an unread private message but every time i click on the link to read the message i am prompted to log in again. When i enter details again i am informed that i am already logged in. So i am going around in circles.

    Any advice to what needs to be done so i can access the private message??

    I deleted all cookies, passwords etc in my internet options and that seems to have done the trick.
