Help... I've 'lost' my iTunes

    Ok, have been using iTunes for years and started moving things about from one drive to another in an attempt to clean things up, in the process I obviously decided to move my iTunes too and now it's gone.
    I've tried to reinstall the iTunes software about 375 times and I keep getting a message saying;
    "The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "Music" folder".
    There is/was a folder in "Music" folder but it was empty.
    I've tried doing a System Restore, and tried un-installing and reinstalling iTunes and about 13 million other things too and no joy.
    I'm going on holiday and want to update my iPod.
    Anyone got any suggestions before my laptop takes part in an experiment about aerodynamics?!?

    hey,

    from reading what you've written, you can't iTunes to open because it can't find the iTunes folder? When you were messing around before this, can you remember where you saved the iTunes folder when you were moving your music? You should be able to point iTunes (the programme) to that folder, if my memory of moving my library serves me correctly?
