    Good stuff - now y'all gonna crowding me in Irishtown!

    Does anyone remember when they used to have plans for an indoor (full sized) track planned for Santry? I remember they had the drawings stuck up next to the blocks under the stands for a couple of years....would have been nice.

    On the subject of indoor tracks - I've always wondered about a 400m indoor track - these exist in other northern hermisphere countries, they're in Scandanavia and Canada.

    http://www.ktuu.com/global/story.asp?s=7032988 Granted Alaska has worse conditions than us but I swear if I ever win the lotto I'm building you all a 400m indoor track. The tennis 'tents' in leopardstown that you can see from the M50 could easily be scaled up.

    Also here's a day dream - let's set up a Boards AC indoor track out in the recession emptied warehouses down by the eastlink/irishtown. I'll act as fundraising organiser :D
