I was on betfair just there and saw 4000 euro had been traded on two dogs in the 11.28 at hove, traps 4 and 5, 2000 each, at odds of 2.6. Very strange. Anyone know whats goin on??

Wouldn't be a good idea to launder it via betfair, I'd imagine it's quite difficult to bet where theres no trace.

when did throwing money at a bookie become money laundering? If thats the case we've all been guilty at some stage!

Might well be the "grand man" making a reappearance, know that a punter used to have massive amounts on one dog or more in the same race, purely on the BAGS for some bizarre reason, definitely more money than sense bearing in mind most of the BAGS tracks are desperately hard to pick winners at consistently....

Who'd offer 4000 at 2.5's in a dog race? Surely there not that much liquidity in the dog markets?

There would be that much and more on the Sky dog markets which can be massive, very surprised indeed though on the BAGS....
