Sony Viao Wireless Card Issue

    Hi folks,

Apologies if this has been covered but I've had a quick look and didn't see it.

I have a Sony Viao (model PCG-7121M), almost a year old at this stage. It has a built in Wifi card (Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN). The laptop itself runs Vista (home premium, all updates installed).

It's never been a particularly good laptop but just lately everytime it does a full reboot the wireless card stops working. It's an easy fix - uninstall and reboot again and it re-installs and everything works. But as Vista reboots sooooo slowly it's a huge pain. I have used the "Update driver" command and I'm told that the latest / most appropriate version is installed.

Anyone have a permanent fix on this?

    Thanks
