Have an interview next week with these guys.

I can't find any background info on their site. They used to be golden pages apparently?
Can someone give me a rundown of their business?

Also who is their main competition?

Any help you could give me would be great

I've been a customer of theirs and its a hard sell. Main competition is the Independant Directory, which is not in the same league.

They have a few different products. Starts at the basic listing, then goes to a boxed insert, then up and up to a full page advert. It's possible to insert a picture into a relativly small advert.

I'd get a copy of the Golden Pages and start measuring up the differnet advert sizes. That way you will know a bit about the sizes on offer.

Hope that helps, can't think of anything else.

Just in case this is a little help- I worked there for a second job last year - it was a short term contract and just three late evenings a week in database work- but the management was excellent- real high achievers. It was all about reaching targets and they encouraged competition between us which was a good motivator. Good atmosphere, nice people and a mix of nationalities- there were a good few from the UK working there at the time. Performance was really well thought of. My manager had told one of the directors about the work I had done and he thanked me personally- that can be rare enough sadly- so yeah, good management at all levels.
The sales people were working close to us and it was definitely what maxwell smart said - they were on the phone calling their own clients to get them to upgrade the ads and they were off on follow-up meetings with clients half the day.

Anyway best of luck in the interview!
