(exercise 2C Q23 in fundamental applied mathematics)

Train 1 is travelling at 80m/s. Train 2 is travelling at 30m/s and is 1500m ahead of train1. What is the minimum deaceleration of train1 to avoid a crash???

If anyone knows how to do this please post the working out...:)

    Answered in maths forum.

If you're going to double-post, I suggest you tell people, so that they won't waste time answering something that somebody else has already sorted out for you.
