Complain about specsavers member of staff

I was treated incredibly rudely by a specsavers retail director recently and am just wondering if there is anywhere I can turn in specsavers to complain. I read on their website that the stores are owned by 1 or more directors, and presumably I would have to go above this person's head to achieve anything, anyone have a similar experience to draw on or advice to offer?

Just so that nobody else will have to deal with this 'attitude' again ;)

Can I ask what branch it was? (Cool if ya dnt wanna name n shame)
How do you know it was the director?
Was the staff member generally rude to you or unhelpful?
To complain you have to email/write to the Head Office In Guernsey.

I don't think I'd want to give any more details on here but I don't have any doubts about the position in ss held by this individual. The staff member became rude, probably because they were under pressure to sell and realised I wasn't such an easy sell after all. Demanded to know WHERE I got the lenses I was presently using, I know this was an irrelevant question designed to initiate the ss sales talk, and threw a tantrum when I wouldn't answer. Unbelievable how I was treated after that.

    ahh no probs op :)

sorry for the experience you had..
I dont think I have asked such a question regarding lenses-- dosnt deem necessary :D

As I said the head office is in Guernsey.. not too certain on exaxt details but any SS will provide them :)

I'm wondering if there's any point in writing to head office if the local ss branches are owned by these 'director's'. What do you reckon misticles?

Had bad experiences with specsavers myself - was sold 2 pairs of glasses for €99 and was actually told at the till "these arent much good, be gentle" - two weeks later they were both broken from identical use that the past pair had survived two years of. Sure, bit of sitting on etc as a teen but still useless tat.

Have had to speak to two sales reps since, trying to get my name off their mailing list.

    Its up to yourself.

I would say if your adamant about then fire away, it will get back to that store director anyways.

    Sdonn:
With regards to the "be gentle with these" approach.
99e frames have no sprung joints ie theres not as much give in the arms as there would be with ones with sprung joints.

For example: I would recommend people who dont wear spex all of the time to get sprung joints as constant on and off wear can loosen the arm and spread the frame.

Would also advise them to parents as children have a habit of trying to pull spex off the people who are wearing them hence needing a bit of give if they yank an arm!

AFAIK, Specsavers are run under a sort of franchise agreement, so directors aren't going to be interested. I would contact the owner of the shop in question.
