    Saw this in HMV today.

    Verbatim external USB powered 320gb hard disk for €59.99

    Also available:

    Verbatim external USB powered 500gb hard disk for €79.99 (dont recall exactly I think that was the price)

    Verbatim external USB powered 250gb hard disk for €54.99

    and

    Verbatim external powered 500gb for €59.99

    Saw a decent looking gold plated HDMI cable for €10 as well.

    What hmv are these in I tried Liffey Valley today but I couldn't see any.

    Sorry, I should have mentioned that I saw them in Grafton Street.

    I saw atleast 10 of them yesterday (320gb ones) and more of others. Infact one of the store girls was putting them when I was there.

    Thanks OP. Bought one of these in HMV on Grafton Street today. The Drive is a 320Gb Samsung drive, 5400rpm, 8mb cache. Good deal.

    Lidi have a 500gb on thursday for €79 but im not sure about the specs between the two. 3 years warranty with lidl anyways

    The Verbatim is a 2.5 inch HD that is USB powered where as the Lidl one is 3.5 inch + ac adaptor powered. The Verbatim is much better value

    Aye, i just went into Harvey Norman's to have a look around and they were selling the same Verbatim drive for 90 quid.

    It's USB and prob formated to FAT32 so you'll have to re-format it but it should work.
