This is going to be a great event for the city. 1,900 Special Olympics athletes from throughout the island of Ireland will travel to Limerick. They will be accompanied by 650 coaches and official delegates as well as over 4,000 family members.

They are mad looking for volunteers to help out for the 5 days 9 - 13 June. They need 3,500. So if anyone is interested check out www.specialolympics.ie
