Anyone familiar with this area know of any letting apartments that overlook the Leopardstown Racecourse?

I dont think there are any. Theres a leisure centre on one side, a Hospital on the other, a housing estate on the other and a road with very expensive houses on Torquay Rd. and then the M50. Maybe theres an apartment building in Ballyogan but doubt if it overlooks the race course.

Is this just so you can watch the races for free? Theres only about 20 meetings a year.

No, I will be visiting the races live. Do horses not workout in the mornings at Leopardstown?

Well hell. So there's only racing there 20 times a year, so even if you're overlooking the racecourse the majority of what you'll see is golfers?

Even if they did work out in the mornings there I'd imagine the novelty of looking out a window at them would be gone after a few mornings.

I own horses here in the States. One of my favorite things to do is go watch the morning workouts. Some don't like it, but it wouldn't grow old to me.

Yeah, thats grand to go and watch your own horses. A bit different when you don't even know what horse you are watching though.

Horses don't work out at Leopardstown in the mornings, only after the odd race meeting.

As said above there's no stables associate with the track.
