new laptop

    Hi,

    I'm looking to get a laptop, really only need it for internet and basic excel, word etc and maybe some light gaming.
    I have a budget of about €300

    I also have a small baby. Can I get a camera that will send video from her bedroom to the above laptop? If so what do I need? Wireless router?

    You'd be able to get a new or used netbook for that price or a used laptop(running Xp!) most laptops for that price running vista will be far to slow!
    As for the camera you could get a wi-fi camera for around €70-€100 which can be accessed over the network and on the internet depending on settings..
