Child Zombies

One thing we rarely see in Hollywoods depiction of zombie outbreaks is children and dwarfs, these two types of people could end up being surprisingly dangerous zombies due to their ability to slip through barriers and would find hiding and sneaking up on the living much easier. There's also the problem of them fitting into unexpected places. While dwarfs will be rare there will be a whole lot of children so this is something that needs to be taken into consideration and planed for.

Another thing I wonder about is how a child's limitless energy will transfer to zombification? Will they simply burn out quicker or will it allow them to keep their speed for much longer making them absolutely deadly?

There were a few in 28 days later, One in the broken down cafe that got a smack of a baseball bat, Then the sequel where the young boy infiltrated the house to have them all ravaged by the zombies.

In all fairness though, one? Two? Look at Irish families, expect thousands.

"Zombies (wicked little things)" the movie, is full of zombie kids infact i don't remember any adult zombies in that flick.

All I could think of the whole movie was " Whats wrong with ye people, they're only kids, bash their heads in with a spade"

Their size also works against them.

They will be weaker, slower due to taking shorter strides when walking, their mouths will be smaller so will be harder for them to get a grip when trying to bite, especially through a strong material.


Should be easier to kill too, think about having a swing with a baseball bat/Hurley/Hammer/Sword at the head of a six foot Z, then think how easy it is if they were four foot tall or three foot tall. Plus we a hammer you would be smashing it downwards rather that upwards so you would get more force into your blows.


They would also find it harder to get over well made barricades or walls, and have less strength to damage fortifications, plus if there was a large crowd of Zs swarming, the smaller ones may get trampled underfoot.

There weren't any zombies in it at all, they where some sort of ghouls, they used weapons and where out to get one person in particular.
