Thinking about heading to Twickenham next year for the England Ireland 6N match, but I haven't a clue where to go to soak up the rugby atmosphere for the weekend.

    Has anyone any tips?

I've never been to an England game in Twickenham, just a Leinster game, but either way.

Twickenham is basically in the arse end of nowhere. It's out near Richmond et al, and is halfway to Surrey/Berkshire. It's a bit crap and dull.

In terms of rugby atmosphere, I really don't know where to go in London, so the only advice I could give you is to find somewhere in the centre, enjoy it, London rocks after all, and just get the tube out to Richmond and then another train or walk to Twickenham itself.

Walks nice from Richmond - double check though - theres a spot where the road forks, and you can hit twickenham from two different directions. One has loads of pubs, the other only has a couple.

    Thanks Joe.

I had ideas of staying in Richmond assuming that this is where it's all happening. This doesn't seem to be the case, right.

Grand so. Twickenham for the day, not to stay. I feel less ignorant now, thanks crash.

Plenty going in in Richmond town, especially on match day.
