V5 - Can I get one there & then in Coleraine DVLA office?

My query is pretty simple, as mentioned in title of thread. If I go to the DVLA office in Coleraine will they issue me with a V5 there and then with my name on it as the new owner of the car? Or do I have to wait 2-6 weeks for them to post it out? Any help/suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

im not sure how the northern system works but down south you have to wait for the Taxbook to comeback from Clare.
