Lads, Does anyone else out there think that Armagh are absolute certainties for the AI minor final vs Mayo.
Armagh have been very impressive all year and to be honest, i think mayo were very fortunate to reach the final. They caught Down for 2-1 early in the 2nd half when Down were the better team in the 1st half. Down then went on to have 5 decent goal chances but stuck nearly every shot straight at the keeper. If they had kept taking their points, then i thin kthey probably would of won.

But i think ARMAGH at 4/6 is a super bet. What ye reckon??

How much are you talking about putting down, do NOT back heavy on minor football.. That final is a lottery..

Definetly a great bet judging on the semi final performances but as the above poster said minor football especially is a lottery, you dont know how the younger lads are going to react to playing in an all ireland final!

Anything can happen in this, especially after the semi where Down should be been out of sight by half time......confidence high in the Mayo camp though..

To be honest, it's fallen just perfect for Mayo this time around. Unconvincing in many of the games and just getting into the final. Last year, the best game they played was in the semi-final replay against Kerry in Limerick and then lost the final. I have a feeling there's a big game due from them.

Of course, I'm speaking as someone who has pretty much watched all these lads from U-14s upwards and there's a lot more potential in them than what they showed against Down. So it could go one of two ways and I think they'll give a good account of themselves against Armagh.

Wouldn't touch it is basically what I'd suggest!
