Laptop to Tv

    Hi all.

    A simple question hopefully. What kind of cable do i need to connect a NC10 laptop to a TV set to show a power-point presentation.

    I use a vga cable but obviously thats just for picture only and not sound.

    you may need 1 yellow rca svideo cable or a 4pin svideo cable ,depends on laptop svideo out port. A scart unit 2inch x3 inch with 3 rca , l,r audio and 1rca svideo in is 4euro in most tv/ hardware stores.SET res on laptop to 720x576 if tv is NOT a hdtv.See here http://www.svideo.com/pc2tv.html or simply use vga to vga if tv has vga in,set res 2 1024x768 refresh rate pc 60mhz
    res if you are not sure of tvs pc specs/resolution.MY 1080i hdtv only takes 50/60mhz max refresh rate according to the user manual.
