I have a wood pellet burner and I have to replace the firebricks in it. I got in touch with the people who supplied it and they told me they were 90 Euros the set:eek:. Does anybody have any idea of a cheaper alternative it is a hercules viadrus 24 Burner.

This company supply a range of Firebricks for Stoves & Cookers.
Perhaps you could match to your requirements.

Usually available through your local builders merchant.

Hi there, i have the same boiler and was wondering what settings you use on the boiler, what is your pellet useage and size of house. I am in Galway, had delivery of 3 tonnes on october 6th, now have about two weeks supply left !!!!!! Cannot seem to get the correct settings (on 4 sec off 35 sec output temp 65 degrees, fan 75% open, flue 50% open) , have seen others using three tonne a year and goin mad!!! any help or ideas, much appreciated. Are you aware Energy Master are no longer trading!!! enquired ref warranty, no reply, looks like trouble ahead for warranty and spares.

HI still no joy on the firebricks issue, former energy master worker waiting to get moulds from the manufacturers. As to settings, feeder pipe 10seconds on 90 seconds off temp 65. All underfloor heating and domestic h. w. about 6 tonnes a year.

Has anyone out there needed to replace the combustion chamber on their viadrus 24kW boiler? How much has it cost?

Vincent, who used to work as a contractor with Energymaster is setting up shop to look after & provide support for these boilers. He can be contacted at 0864082585.

    Hi
Can I ask are these the settings for a 24kw or 48kw burner?

This is a 24k burner and those settings have since been changed to feeder on for 4 seconds and the fan on 37 sec. intervals. This was the setting that the service dude applied and it seems to be burning less pellets. 60 degrees is loads.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have a 48kw Viadrus Hercules that is powering through the pellets - still looking for the most economic settings. Good luck with finding your fire bricks.

    Hi FoleyArt,
Just wondering if you ever got your firebricks for the Viadrus Boiler?
I have a similiar boiler, and need a new semi circular firebrick for the top of the combustion chamber.Would be very grateful for any info on this, thanks.
