seems like abit of a dying art, not one of the farms around me have a working dog for cattle now, they would probably all have had dogs woking cattle when I was small, id say alot of the suckers going now would kill a dog nearly..

From personal exp they either have it or they don't. Have a pup at home out of two cattle dogs and don't believe she'll have the power to work sheep let alone cattle! I suppose all I can do is give her a chance! Seems to be very difficult to get a good'un. Is she working sheep?
