    can anyone help me out. got letter from VEC to say I got approved reg fee for my 2nd year as i had also received it last year. applied then for grant and vec rang friday saying they are taking back reg fee because of my husbands wages..can they do this, panic on me now to find reg fee

    Yes they can take it back. The VEC can reassess you whenever they want (usually the start of the academic year) and this takes into account all recent earnings that didn't effect you last time round.
