    Hi Hogzy

    have a look at this.
    www.p4c.philips.com/files/5/52pfl5604h_12/52pfl5604h_12_pss_eng.pdf

It's the 52PFL5604H LCD TV. It retails instore for €1499.99 but to Boardies it would be €1350 which includes a 2 year warranty. A little above budget I know.

Its a nice TV but to be honest for the same money you can get the FAR superior 47PFL8404H - which is only a little smaller:)
    www.p4c.philips.com/files/4/47pfl8404h_12/47pfl8404h_12_pss_eng.pdf

This TV gives your 4 HDMI inputs,
    Wired NET TV function,
    Ambilight
    100Hz panel (52PFL5604H is a 50Hz model)
    3ms response time
    80000:1 contrast
    4 year warranty
    etc etc etc!

This TV is absolutely one worth stretching your budget for.

The step up 52" model would be the 52PFL7404H which shares the core features of the 8404 excluding the Net TV and Ambilight, oh and comes with a 3 year warranty.
this TV retails for €1699.99 in store - you can take 10% off that being a Boardie

    Hope these are of interest
    Ash
