    Hey folks, i'm starting a new band and i'm looking for advice on what pa system to buy, we are looking to play to the medium to big sized pub, day after wedding, 21st sort of crowd of maybe 100 or 150 peolpe with lively punk/trad music along the lines of The Pogues, we would have four vocal mics, four instruments and four drum mics plugged into the system, now i only have 4000 euros to play with, so what would ye recommend

    Ah! the microphone on the fiddle could be a problem whit that kind of a line up!!! Though I'd try it anyway...

    A pair of F8 or F5 Dynacord subs, and a pair of F150 or D12 tops with a powermate desk would be a solid rig. It would bring ya aroud 4000...

    Check second hand, there's always someone selling/buying that stuff.
