Green Ranger to make his MMA debut

The original green ranger from the power rangers series of the early 90's is to make his MMA debut later this year. He seems like a good guy, he is a 6th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and a blue belt in BJJ. He was going to get in the MMA game 7 years ago but did not as he was going to train with his brother who unfortunately died. Here is the article

I'd like to see him do well, obviously the whole "tv" character debate similar to Lesnar will kick off, and the same applies, he was a competitor before all that etc

Most likely this is just a publicity stunt to boost his rep. Like that WWE match disguised as a Muay Thai match.

Its not, he is an actual martial artist. His reasons seem genuine.

I realize he is legit as far as his ranks are concerned but that work on the Master Toddy show was fake as hell.

One is supposed to be fake and the other is supposed to be real. Anybody who thought that MT match was real needs to be drug tested they are on some serious stuff.

He looks really different than he used to. I will be looking forward to seeing him fight.Loved him in Power Rangers.Best Ranger by far.

Yeah in his last season a few years ago he was really skinny. Now he looks like he's been on the Overeem diet.

I grew up watching the Power Rangers every single day. I cannot help but want this guy to win every fight.

He was the White Ranger in the movie, easily the best one.
