What's the story about arranging rechecks for subjects in JC? I know someone who wants one paper rechecked. Thought she got an A but got a C !

We got an additional sheet alongside our results, telling us how we go about getting papers rechecked.

You get in touch with the exam co-coordinator in your school, give your exam number, name, subject etc. along with a cheque for €32 per subject. If your grade after the recheck is higher than the initial one, then your money will be refunded.

It says on bottom of your results what the closing date for a recheck applications is & saw somewhere today that it costs around 30euro. You should talk to your school principle about the procedure to use. Good luck with it!

That's pretty much it. The closing date is the 25th of September I believe.

Kind of want my science rechecked but I'll clearly never go through with it. I wanted an A, godammit!

To be honest it's just the Junior cert and really doesn't mean much, the only time I'd get something rechecked is if I got a D or failed when I thought I got like an A

I was thinkingabout getting English rechecked, i got a D and thought i deserved more than that, the exam went good (well. i thought it did)
Is it worth my while getting it checked?

do you want to do honours for the LC? And does your school allow you to do honours if you got a D?

Loads and loads of people got a D in English (people I'd expect to get an A even).

Yeah, it was a pretty stable plan to do honours for the leaving, my english teacher didn't seem to mind though  so, i'm just trying to make up my mind now.
