Just gone back to Eircom, are these stats any good?

    folks have just gone back to eircom, and got 3mb broadband.. was active in 2 days.. i have now ordered 7mb package, i think it should work ok , any ideas based on these stats?

    To me those stats look quite poor, High attenuation and low enough SNR, not sure if you'll get the full 7 meg package on those stats tbh man :( Sorry :(

    that line is a stable 3 megger or a 4 megger max , I take it near enough 3 miles from the exchange

    Not a great line there. I would stick with a solid 3 instead of a unreliable 4 or 4.5,

    have ordered the eircom 7mb package. they sent me an email yesterday saying the order would be completed today, so it looks like the 7mb ( i rekon less than 7) will be turned on..

    the funny thing is that their automated system checked my line and said it was ok...

    is there any difference between the business broadband package and residential ones?

    Better service if it breaks and lower contention and better in the evenings when most businesses are shut .
