bought a second sky box with ex sub card irish

The box works fine and you get a lot of fta channels but if i put in the card i get no channels.

It is the right card for the box and i thought to get the channels you need the card in still even if its not active anymore.

I know i wont get any of the sub stations with it but should i not get the fta ones with it in.... I will just use it without the card so no big deal really just curious.

An ex-sub Irish card is no good to you whatsoever so bin it. Unplug the box for 2 minutes and reboot without any card for all the fta channels available.

lol to the rescue again thats grand thanks i will bin it so. i dont suppose you would know why i cant get any thing to work on series link??? i have tried a few programmes now on a few channels and its not working

if i got my hands on an English card would that make any difference??? would it give a few extra channels?

Series link only works when you have an active sub....A blue FTV will be switched off shortly so not worth getting...plus rumors amist that FIVER and five us will be free by november...

sorry should of said that the series link is not working on the HD box and that has a valid sub card
