Not really sure this is in the right forum but anyhow

Look, worst case senario is you end up having to reapply for the CAO next year.
Which has the advantage of giving plenty of time for you to figure out what you want to do.

Some colleges do allow you to change courses and such once you have the points for them
but afaik its very much case by case. You'd need to ask them directly about it though.

I'd suggest you contact WIT or CIT immediately and ask about any vacancies.

Its very early in the term, and its quite possible some people either didn't turn up or may have decided, like you, that the courses they've accepted places on aren't for them.

Worst case scenario - nothing happens and you waste a couple of hours making phone calls.

Best case scenario - you may actually get something you'd like to do.

Really not a big deal - worst case scenario is that you have to take a year out, but at least you'll then be able to work full-time and save up for college.

I think you'll need to drop out before you start this course or else you might have to pay high fees on the course you really want to do.
