Do stations licensed by the BCI have measures in place to prevent swearing on live transmissions such as call in shows etc etc? Do they have a delay in place?

It's presenters swearing on air that the BCI should be concerned about. (i105-107 )

I don't think they're used much these days. Maybe if libel is an issue.

You might get a better answer on the Radio forum.

its funny that swearing is censored by boards'ie and yet it is being pumped out over the airwaves on a daily basis by newstalk in a shameless bid to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

True. It's just I can think of many more 'phone in shows on radio than on TV.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any on Irish TV. Prolly 'cos I don't watch TV3 or RTE:D
