Help with D90 and bracketing

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get my D90 into bracketing mode. I is confused, and it does not help that my manual is in Japanese. One thing I was wondering is since I favor old Nikkor lenses, could this be the problem. Does bracketing only work with the new kit-type lenses?

hold the bracket button on the front of the camera a down while turning the dial on the back of the camera.
    Always works on mine.

Define 'old nikkor lenses'. Most old MF AIS/AI lenses won't even meter with the D90 so I don't know whether or not that might prevent it from going into bracketing mode. You might just have to do it yourself in manual mode.

    I bought a D90 myself recently.

Found this site useful (it covers a range of Nikons)

This episode covered some stuff about HDR

(just looked at the HDR section and it was based on a D300, but the other videos have covered the D90)

Like on the manual pic above .. BKT button on the front of the camera turns bracketing ON/OFF, using the back wheel to choose from the different modes.

I got very annoyed when i first starting using the D90, i couldn't figure out why in manual mode, every time i shot something, the exposure was changing on its own for the following shot ..... so i eventually read the manual, and ho .. yea, turn bracketing off :p
