20 hours a week

    I am currently getting the full jobseekers allowence and have been about 8 months now.

    I am after getting a job (didnt start yet) that is 20 hours a week over 5 days and €9.40 an hour. Now will i be still able to recieve any of this jobseekers when i start the job

    afraid not, since you can only take part time dole if you work 3 days or less Monday - Saturday.

    If you are a parent you may qualify for FIS though.

    not a parent fortunately.

    so it is going to cost me money to work, i will be earning less than the dole and will have to pay for petrol and tolls just to get to work.

    ah well I am going to accept the job anyway its only a 2 month contract so hopefully after that i get a better contract with more hours
