you could get a quad lnb for 40 euro and cable for few euro yourself, easy to do.

the thing is its a new installation and there is a quad lnb going in any way the dish is right next to the bedroom window and the room i wanted it in was the bedroom so he literally had to drill a whole in the wall and connect the wire. He said he would drop his price to €70 i told him i'd rather get up the ladder and do it myself lol.

    Good for you!

You don't even have to drill a hole if you don't want to - you can get a cable part that will allow you to pass the cable through your window frame. Been using one myself for 3 years. No damage to window, and no loss of signal (no loss noticible anyway).

Yep would back up what Polyfusion said, those flat cable extenders are great for general usage and saves the hassle of drilling et all.
The installer was most likely offering to install the extra cabling into another room for you as a nixer but that's a rediculous price really.
