Cartoon controversy

    Whoever said this in the comments hit the nail on the head;

    No one has a right not to be insulted. Period.

    I would make the point that a cartoon about 2 jews discussing the numbers of jewish dead from ww2 should not be covered under religious/blasphemy legislation.

    They happen to be jewish, the cartoon is not mocking judaism in general or as a religion in any way shape or form.

    Is Holocaust denial an offense in Holland?

    Although the cartoon had been taken off the AEL's website three years ago, the league decided to republish it to highlight the double standards operating in society. 'The AEL does not think any of the cartoons should be subject to prosecution,' the organisation said in a statement.

    Oh hey look guys, I strongly agree with what the Arab European League said. Oddly enough.

    I agree witht hat comment. My point is that if a Jewish organisation done the same about say the crusades then what do you think would happen?

    You mean to tell me that we have made it through five posts and no one has said 'Pics or GTFO' yet?

    That makes it even more of a farce.

    From the descriptions I've read this would appear to be it:

    I saw a few more... They were pretty crapy, as most political cartoons usually are... I assumed that they were the cartoons in question... But now I can't find them in my browser history...
    :-(

    I should have saved them
