I'm getting a projector soon and was looking at the Optoma HD65 & HD70, does anyone have any experience of these? there's a hundred quid difference between the 2 on Komplett (HD65 being the most expensive) would the HD65 be a big enough improvement over the HD70 to justify the extra outlay does anyone know?

I have a HD70 for a few years now and it's great when fed a good i.e HD source. Never seen a HD65 but would imagine the differences to be minimal.

From what i've been reading, the HD70 is less bright than the HD65, but that won't be an issue really cos the room it will be in will be fully darkened anyway. At the moment i'm not seeing what the extra 100 yoyos is going on, so i'm leaning towards the cheaper HD70. They both seem quite similar specs-wise other than the brightness thing.

What size screen do you have it projecting? do you have a proper screen?

    I'm using a 92" screen.

Do you have a proper screen thing or are you projecting onto a wall?

A proper screen, it's a Panoview 16:9 pull down screen. Nothing too fancy but does the job well enough.
