Flotrack have done an Irish version of their website, looks really good and some good interviews of the recent worlds.

Since I've last posted on this I've now got involved, so if anyone has anything they think is news worthy let me know. Also let me know what you would like to see in it. I've approached a few people from Boards today with a few ideas of where I would like it to go and I think its going to be good but do feel free to have your say. The guys from flotrack in paticular Mark are very supportive of the idea and have offered their services, so hopefully with them on board our athletes will get the exposure they deserve and that we the fans will have a site worthy of their achievements.

So are they doing one of these for each country in the world? It's a great idea but I don't understand why Flotrack are doing this. Do you remember runtrackireland.com? That was good for a while, but wasn't looked after and closed down...are the flotrack guys looking after this, aren't they rediculously busy.

One BIG suggestion : Workout Dé Céadaoin

I think there willing to set up a site for different countries as long as there's people dedicated to looking after it.
The guys in flotrack are involved in the irish site and its thanks to them the site is up and running so quickly, Mark as I said has been fanatstic and in regular contact. Regarding workout Wednesday, we're hoping to have similar but we obviously don't have the depths that they do in the states but yes people and their training groups will be approached and apparently are already open to the idea.
Hopefully the site will be around for a long time and their is a team being put in place that will cover all aspects of what we're about.

    Good stuff.

I'm always jealous when I watch the workout videos there which always seem to be done under glorious blue skies. We need to show them how proper workouts are done.....in the dark, bit of rain and wind with the occassional hail shower. How do you like dem apples Flagstaff?

I hope the big tri-colour as a background is only temporary. As a flag - wonderful. As a background - awful. What's next, Shamrocks and leprecians? Great to have a new dedicated site though.

Will you be interviewing Irish athletes in Berlin Woddle?

Yeah it's a bit mad alright and will be on my to do list.

Regarding Berlin I'm going to see if any of the top guys are going over and try and nab them for sure.

An interview here with David Flynn courtesy of ecoli (big thanks)

I'll be creating a QnA section but for now this interview can be found in the news section.

Thanks for all the comments so far.
