I see on the Sony website that these are to be released in €20 and €50 denominations in September.

Does anyone know if these are out now and where can they be bought? It will be very handy for people like me with no credit card.

    Many thanks in advance.

How is "Platstation Network Cards misleading"? That is what they are called. (as you can see here) http://ie.playstation.com/ps3/hardware/accessories/detail/item228888/PlayStation%C2%AE-Network-Cards/

And secondly nobody answerd OP's question, when and where can you buy these?

And I was only joking in my first post, calm down.

Also I was only stating the question had been answered.

Is there any advantage in getting these cards if you already have a way to pay online on the PSN? I.e. as in will some shops sell €50 cards for, say, €40?

    I somehow doubt it.

Unless you can use trade-in values to purchase them of course.

I've already seen ShopTo.net selling £50 PSN cards for £45. So the answer is yes, at least for online retailers.

I think the PSN Cards are out on Friday with the PSP Go! Our place won't be pricing them until they're on the shelves, but I'd say in a bricks and mortar store they'll sell for the same amount that they're loaded with.

Correct me if im wrong but im guessing you cant use those sterling ammount cards on the EU/euro currency store, same as you cant use the US ones on the EU store......

Lads, apparently there is a rumour the cards are tagged for the individual country stores due to taxes. Irish won't work on German store and such.

If you have a UK card then use it on the UK store. It is the exact same as the Irish one.

I wasn't suggesting people should use the GBP cards, it was merely an example that the PSN cards are being discounted already.

Yeah thats cool, I was just making 100% sure that was the case with buying them from the uk. Gamestop and Game have them on sale today, they both said they got them in yesterday.

Picked up a €20 PSN card in game for €20 which surprised me as I thought it would be an extra one or two euro for it .

They also had the €50 PSN cards as did gamestop.

Just had a read of the back of the box and it has the following:

" This card issued by Playstation Network Europe limited. Redeemable only for funds in PlayStation wallet to purchase items in the PlayStation store by users holding a master PlayStation Network account registered in Ireland. "
