I bought this for my friend mainly coz of the name of it :) It's like any of those gimmicky products. It makes your lips tingle and whether is plumps them up I don't know. My mate has pretty big lips anyways.

I don't know if that one works, but the Urban Decay one definitely does (stings like hell too, but I'm a bit of a masochist like that, I like it :p ). The Pout ones used to be the best though, I miss those. :(

I have that one, and it does plump my lips a little. However the smell is absolutely awful, makes me feel really sick :o

Thanks for the input ladies...don't think I'll be buying this so,I've spend money on other stuff like this that didn't work :(

Oh crap, sorry, I just checked their website and it seems to have been discontinued! :(

BUT, it's been replaced by this, which looks pretty cool, especially if you don't like the burning sensation.

They don't ship to Ireland but I'm sure you can get it in Debenhams, that's where I got the other one anyway. I think that one was around €15 so this is prob the same, and I can't vouch for it. I have heard good things about the Too Faced one as well though, so maybe either give this one or that one a go!

    Thanks for that!:D
So do you think it would work as well as the one that got discontinued?

Smashbox have something similar for pout with a pink colour tint.
Not sure if it really work.

The Pout one was great, its stings but not too bad but then it does work.
I love the mini tube colour tint pout too but discounted :(

Also I discover by accident, when i first use the upper lip hair remover cream, it plump yp lips biggg but thats cos i was allergic and always do the night before so i have plump lip the next day but not worth the pain and rash :o

I'd advise anyone to be careful when using this product. I tried it on once in a store and shortly after, my lips started tingling (normal) then stinging (not normal) then swelling and becoming very red and inflamed.

I looked like Leslie Ash! Thankfully, my lips were back to normal a few hours later.

I really like the Soap and Glory plumper. Nice shades available, reasonable price and it does work. Quite sticky, but good.

Just a thought for the two faced product, only apply a tiny amount to prevent painful sting. I wonder is that why its in a small tube.

Does it actually give u a pout like this?

No...She's clearly had an injectable treatment in her lips. Very recently too, judging by the lumpiness/puffiness.

I have two of the soap & glory lip plumpers; I think they do work. It's not a massive difference but it's noticeable and they are lovely and glossy and taste pretty nice too!

Tip - scrub your lips with a toothbrush before you use something like this, it will increase the plumping effect.

The Soap and Glory one is as sticky and gloopy as the cheapest gloss.

I tried the Lip Venom, and personally I would only recommend it to someone I hate it hurt that much.:(

And the results were barely noticeable.

I got the S&G one in the set at xmas. To be honest it made my lips more dry than anything else. I wouldnt recommend it, as a lipgloss its fine but not as a plumper.

This one is good, stings though.

apparently the super-models used hemorrhoid cream, or just brushing your lips (akin to brushing your teeth but lips where your teeth used to be!) works just as well.

It's the same effect as snogging someone the night before. You're basically bruising your lips so they swell up. Think chilli is the active ingredient in a lot of the lip pumpers, hence the tingling effect.

No they don't. They use hemorrhoid cream to reduce puffiness under their eyes, which is the opposite effect to lip plumping.

Snogging someone does not bruise your lips! Lip plumpers usually work by mildly irritating your lips but they don't bruise them.

whoops, obviously a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing (and not the same as full knowledge)... that's for the corrections :D

I actually really like this one. The effects aren't amazing but it is noticeable. Plus, it comes in really nice shades :D
