just had my first turbo session using clipless pedals and cleats today and while i found the session quite comfortable i had pins and needles on the ball of both feet just behind the little toe. it only lasted for about 10 minutes after i finished but i'd like to get rid of it if i can.

i have a triathlon in 3 weeks so i dont want pins and needles on the run (its gonna be bad enough). any experienced cyclists or triathletes have any idea what caused this.

    cheers
    P

There could be many reasons and hopefully you'll get some good ideas and replies. You might want to add details like the make of bike shoe, they type of cleat and pedal used, how long you were on the trainer for.

The most obvious might be that your shoes are too tight on your feet. Try loosening them a little next time. You might also want to check that the cleats on the bottom of the shoe are properly aligned. Im sure theres some good online resources for checking this via google.

    Good luck with the training
