Ok, I did a search and found a thread about this from April 2008 with no replies - I didn't know whether to resurrect it or start a new one, so I'm gonna compromise by starting a new thread and quoting the old one

Dudara posted this in April 2008: This may seem odd, but I'm a big fan of Pantene Perfect Curls shampoo. It works wonders on my hair. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere at the moment. Has anyone else seen it on the shop shelves recently?

So, basically I'm having this problem now and I can't find an answer to it.... although it wasn't a problem for me in 2008.

I cannot find the Perfect Curls Shampoo or Conditioner anywhere - just the mousse (thank god because it's the only one that works).

The Pantene website says it is still available. I emailed Pantene and they said it was still available. However, I can't find it anywhere in Ireland and also could not find it ANYWHERE in London or Berlin recently.

I asked Tesco and Boots here and they said it had been discontinued by Pantene- unfortunately nobody seems to have told Pantene this! :rolleyes: Also, funny how they haven't discontinued the mousse.

So, anyone seen any around?? I'm willing to travel! It's just so frustrating not getting a straight answer.

They have Pantene Perfect curls 2-in-1 here if that's any good to you?

I'm afraid I don't know what the website is like...

They also have the shampoo on the Superdrug website. I'd link to the superdrug website but it seems to hate me...

Thanks, I'll check the site out.

Funnily enough none of the approx 15 Superdrug stores I searched in London recently stocked it.

Well the website is pretty crap, it's entirely probable that it's lying. I'll probably be up in superdrug in tallaght tomorrow so I can report back!

Oh no I'm not saying the website is lying, just that I haven't seen it in stock in an actual shop - had a good look in all Tesco, Boots, Superdrug in London a few weeks ago. Then again, none of these stocked ANY Sunsilk products either - literally couldn't find a bottle of sunsilk of any type in the whole of London.

Haven't been to the Square in years though, so didn't even know there was a Superdrug there! It'd be great if they did have it.

I'd still love to lay hands on this shampoo. I was able to buy a large bottle in Walmart in the states at Christmas and that lasted for a while, but I haven't been able to find any at home in ages.

Just to update this:

I found a few bottles of both the conditioner and shampoo in Boots in the Jervis Centre. I was overjoyed! I asked the girl at the till if there was a reason it was back in when they hadn't had it for over a year, but she hadn't realised it was ever not available.

It has already made a difference to my hair - feels so much better in just a week!

Bought myself a bottle of this conditioner yesterday adter reading this thread...used it this morning, can't say I noticed a huge difference, but hopefully it'll be worth it after after a few washes!

Yes have it in Tesco, €4.99 for 500ml, can't keep it on the shelves.
Is it really that good?
What exactly does it do, is it like putting a slight slick of Frizz Ease in your hair?

I found this on sale in the Super Valu in Macroom, Cork, while visiting my parents. I was so delighted to see it that I literally did a little dance.

So it is out there - just got to keep looking
